It was a
good day to be at Fly MX Park. Guy really had the track in great
shape. Plus, if you watched the Open A Pro Class today, you
got to see Michael McDade, the current "East Coast Arena Cross
Lites Champion". Boy, does he fly around Fly MX Track. Talk about
riding on the ragged edge, but that is how you win Championships!
He went faster around the track then anyone who has ever ridden at
Fly! Before Michael left today, he thanked Guy for having such a
nice track and told him he would be back for the Pro money race on
September 30th.
I talked
to Brad Louden before the start of the race today and he was
telling how "out of shape" he was, just before he came in second
in a pretty full Open C Class. Brad, you looked good to
me today.
Jamie
Burton showed riders in three classes just how fast he really is,
he rode in the combined 40+, 250 School-Boy, and the Open B Classes
today and won the overall. Not too shabby for a fifty-two year
old!
Jacob
Visnic continues to pick up the pace. In the combined Quad 80-110cc
and the Quad Junior Classes, Jacob was right with Hunter Bever, who
was riding in the Junior Class. Nice Ride Jacob (you too,
Hunter).
It was
good to see the Crambletts at the track today. Dolan or Bob
haven't been racing at the track for awhile. It took me a bit to
figure out the new rider was in the Open C Class, turns out it was
Dolan. Man has he improved his skill, plus he has moved
straight to the Open Class. Quite a jump from his last time on Fly
MX Track. He made a good move, definitly not too big a leap for
him. He looks better in the Open Class then I think he ever did in
the Mini Classes. Nice ride today Dolan!
The
Campbells continue to Burn-Up their classes this season! Tres
and Adam have made a great "Regular Rider" addition to the Fly MX
Family this year.
Michael
"MAD MIKE" Yoker continues to dominate the 50 and 65cc Classes. In
fact, he is the points leader in both classes after six
races.
We had a
Setterstrom back at the track today. It appears thet Gunner is
working on re-gaining his Moto-Legs in the Mini-Senior Class. Even
though it was only one of the four racing Setterstrom brothers, it
just seemed more like the regular Fly MX Park!
Hope to
see everyone at the next race!
