The
season is progressing quite nicely, great turnouts, great weather,
and excellent racing. Ten years in and we are still having a good
time. The track has been in perfect condition. We hope everyone is
enjoying the season as much as us. Today was our Annual Father's
Day "Lap of Honor", it was one of our biggest turnouts! Don't
forget to stop up at the Sign-Up building to pick up your free
Father's Day Photos at the next race.
Russ
Arnold assumed his new role as our Finish Line Flagman and did an
excellent job as always. Russ always steps up when he is needed.
Jeff would have been proud of the job he did as we all were.
If you
noticed a different tractor at the track today, it was a rental,
our old faithful kind of gave up. We had to have a new clutch put
in the Kubota. I guess there should be no shame for it, the use has
been considerable for ten years. There is a lot of stop and start
usage while taking care of a Motocross Track.
It was
good to see Randon Georgetti back at the track, we haven't seen him
in several seasons. He rode two very good sets of Motos and took
the wins in the 125cc B-C and the School-Boy Classes. Tommy Bracken
followed Randon with a second place in both classes.
Nathan
Wagner put on a good show in the 250cc C Class for the win today.
Cole Crow got second and Joby Barr third, both made a good showing
of themselves today.
Guy had
a rough day today, not only did he get knocked over on the start,
but he also got ran over. He ended up with tweeked forks, a burned
arm, and bruised ribs. It was a good thing it was a two stroke pipe
that burned him instead of a four stroke, four stroke pipes are
much hotter.
Ray
Richards had some problems in the Quad Vet +30 Class but he still
got the Win. He lost a bolt (maybe a couple) in the sub frame
section of his Quad and had to barely putt back to the pits in the
first Moto. He was able to get everything back together and come
back in the second for the overall Win.
Hope to
see everyone at the next race on July 6th!!
